Colourful Hopes Association – Haklara Destek

Colourful Hopes Association

The Colourful Hopes Association (CHA) was founded in Diyarbakır’s Sur district with the purpose of carrying out socio-cultural and socio-psychological work with children and young women between the ages of 5 and 18 who were affected by the conflicts that took place in recent years in order to erase the traces of trauma in the daily life in the region and keeps operating with the same purpose until date.

The association is open to cooperation and sharing its experiences regarding work with children living in conflict areas, the creation of a culture of peace, oral culture and its transmission, exercises for children related to gender equality, early childhood exercises, and children’s rights workshops for activists. CHA further offers support to applicants in matters of sexual abuse, early marriage, and inequality of opportunity.
